It's amazing that the negativity pouring out of this company is transparent on so many levels.

This should be stickied on the front page of the main forum, so everyone can see. Not sure if there ever was a more worthy thread for it.

Track down Steinberg next, they're the only company I can think of which next to Avid seem to engender as much hostility from their customer base.

Thanks for the link! Great to read some inside opinions.

You always have to take these comments and ratings with a grain of salt because the people not being satisfied are way more likely to vent their frustration there than the people who are actually satisfied.

But that being said, if you compare that corporate climate with some of the competitors', Avid's is quite significantly lower.

Personally, this leaves me with even less hope for that company to get back on track.

Yeah, this site is a bit like the ratemyprofessor.com sites in that the only people who will really post are those who either really hate or really love the thing being reviewed.

Still hilarious, especially compared to other companies, and considering all assumed about AVID before.
