I thought it was pretty good. Much better than the last Stratovarius album. Having Kiske and Tobi along certainly didn't hurt either.

I just got around to listening to it. I've had it for 2-3 months. Another writer beat me to the review so I shelved it and have been listening to it for a couple of weeks now. There's just way too much to listen to, hell I haven't even heard a lick off the new Exciter yet! Or the Kiske record...

It was quite good. Much more in the vein of Violence and Force / Long Live the Loud. But man, do those guys need to find an engineer! They should come up to Windsor and record with OzNimbus.

I'll get to that one in the next day or so. MVD is re-issuing some of the classic stuff in January, watch out for that.

I'd been avoiding this one due to bad memories of Tolkki's solo album & all the Stratovarius drama in recent years.
The samples are decent enough... maybe a bit too much in the melodic vein for my tastes. I may try to chase down a copy of the album.

The only songs I didn't like were Angel and Keep The Flame Alive. I love Michael Kiske, but these songs are incredibly boring!
