Any one going to the Randy Rhoads Rockwalk Induction. I'll be heading out to L.A. for the event, thought I might catch a show or two while out there.

from blabbermouth:
RANDY RHOADS To Be Inducted Into Hollywood's ROCKWALK OF FAME

Former OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist Randy Rhoads will be inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk of Fame on Thursday, March 18, 2004. The induction will be held in front of Guitar Center Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California. The exact time will for the induction will be announced at a later date.

Randy Rhoads died tragically in a plane crash on March 19, 1982, one day after performing his final show with OZZY OSBOURNE at the Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was 25 years old.

Although Randy only recorded two studio albums with Ozzy (1980's "Blizzard of Ozz" and 1981's "Diary of a Madman"), the impact he had on a generation of young guitar players worldwide was truly remarkable. Ozzy Osbourne himself has been haunted by Rhoads' memory. "He was a saint," said the singer who was responsible for discovering him. "He was an angel, and too good for this world. His death's always on my mind."

I might be there.:headbang:

Everything is booked. I'm out of Chicago at 6:40AM, I'm in L.A. about 9:03AM on the 17th. The 18th at be at the store bright and early to see things off. That night I will be at the Cat House with a friend of mine Ryan, I guess they are having some sort of jam going on there. After that I basically go back to the hotel to get my gear and get to LAX, my flight leaves at 6:35AM. That's going to be a rough flight. I was hoping to stay longer but some things going on back here made me cut my trip short.

Damn! I have physical therapy at 10 am that day. I've got to reschedule. Randy has always been my favorite guitar player, I had tickets for the Seattle show. I missed several days of school, me and my buddy Kevin went out in to the woods and had a memorial for him. I still can't believe that they picked Brad Gillis to finish the tour. He hella sucked! :hotjump: Randy will always be missed and an influence on guitar players around the world.

:ill: Woah, that's embarrassing.

Hey Intense, hope you had a good trip out here.:)

It was great, just too short. I burnt myself out the first day. Walked from the hotel to Guitar Center. My hotle was 4 blocks south of Sunset on Vermont. So, that's 4 block to Sunset then from the 4700 block of Sunset down to the 7400 block. Took an hour and a half. I didn't have any thing smaller than a $20. The day of the induction was great. I got to the store about 8:00am and was there until about 5:00pm. For those that weren't there they were filming Get Shorty 2 right there on Wed and Thurs. I got some cool shots also. I should have some up soon.
