Just heard about the club fire that killed 39 people, injured over 160 last night. Great White was on stage when pyro pots caught the wall on fire and no-one could get out fast enough. This is a horrible tragedy. Just when I finished joking with ProgMetalFan, I hear this terrible news. Now it's up to over 65 people died. So sad.

Although, the Chicago one was the fault of one dumbass.

This is a tragedy of an intense magnitude. The death toll is up to 75 now with more on the way. Plus, over 150 people treated for serious and critical burns and smoke inhalation. Words cannot describe the sorrow I feel for Rhode Island.

From what I have heard, the band used it without permission from the club.

Get this...A video was released to CNN from someone who taped the show. The pyro pots sent sparks to the ceiling and immediately flames walked up the back wall and across the ceiling. Kids went frantic and could not find the exit in hysteria. I'll tell you guys, the images are sticking with me like the ones of the planes hitting the towers. It was horrible. The room was too small.

Anyway, the band says they got permission to use pyro, and the club owners say they never even asked. Someone is lying and over 90 people are dead and over 160 badly burned. I'm so sad over this.

If you go see a band in a club and pyro pots are set on stage, get out immediately. SymX does not use anything, so no need to worry about them.
