Trying to make a serious thread; did anyone see this discussion (if not, you can obviously click the link above), and if you did (which you should have by now), what did you think?
 
Aw damn, I could have gone to that. Stanford is like 20 minutes away.
 
It's a discussion between two scientists from different backgrounds (biology and physics) on science' place in society and science education. So yes, they agree with eachother on the scientific part of it. What they don't necessarily agree on is the way that certain ideas should be communicated to the general public with Dawkins obviously taking a much harsher approach to that than many other scientists do.
