I have been on the Sludge forum on & off quite a bit, Ricky Warwick came up.
I recall The Almighty as a band in the vein of Alice in Chains "lite." I rolled the dice on the solo record based on a recommendation. The new record is called
Love Many Trust Few. Not a gamble at all, this is a great "song" oriented record, I didn't know he had a record like this in him?! It's great for those old schoolers that like Adult Oriented Music, I can't call it all rock, because there's acoustic stuff on there...

He is the husband of Vanessa Warwick who used to present the European edition of Headbanger Ball. I never liked here presentation. And she looked so Damn Fugly!!

I have The Almighty debut and it's pretty enjoyable. Nothing to do with grunge and much less with AIC, I sense them as GNR with balls. All and all the music wasn't that interesting to follow them beyond the debut.

I have seen clips of interviewing Motley Crue, WASP & a number of other bands...
She was a shitty interviewer... I'm sorry...

You hear what you hear I hear what I hear, in any event they couldn't compare with either GNR or AIC...
