Right on the heels of the NDAA:

I understand the ever encroaching government control. What I'm not quite so sure on is why? Is it a natural phenomenon for people in government to expand the power of government and write laws every year simply to justify their own existence? Or is it a more sinister move towards the conspiratorial new world order, etc? If the latter, I never understood the point in complete control. I can understand it to the point where you can have whatever you want. Amass your wealth and power so you can individually do whatever you like. Lavish lifestyles, etc. I get corruption on a personal level. I get government and business cozying up with one another at the expense of the average citizen. I don't get the almost conspiratorial goal to move towards absolute control of every person in a country/world and erode all their rights.

^ hey what's with the links in that article? they all go to some invalid page.

Looks like he posted the links to the bills that consisted of searches. So the hosting site didn't keep them. Im assuming anyone can re-search.

I'll let him know, met him on another forum.

Is there any reason to believe the supreme court might oppose this and/or NDAA? I don't recall anything being done about the Patriot Act, and i don't know what the current justices' political leanings are. I'm guessing they won't stop them but idk.

I think it's interesting that the Supreme Court is strengthening the Second Amendment at the same time these other bills are getting released. Maybe the old judges want to see a fight?

I have a couple friends who recently changed their registration from Democrat to Republican so they could vote for Paul. Both of them cited NDAA and this as the "last straw."
