rilo kiley appreciation thread

i have a hard time choosing a favorite album cause theyre all so good

their debut took the longest to grow on me with its less distorted sound as a whole but man there are some fucking incredible songs on there likewise their latest has perhaps a little mroe commercial sound but with such quality songs who can complain :I
 
i'd have to say take offs and landings is their best, it's the most honest sounding and it has pictures of success
 
science vs romance is obviously the best song on that album :I when jenny sings "test sites keep me up at night..." with blake doing the "doo doo doo" thing behind it and then "i'm telling you i'm lonely tooOOOOoooOOOO" oh god so amazing :cry:

i think the first half is really good then it kinda loses its way in the second half its still good but i just wish it was a little more focused

imo wings parts 1 and 2 is one of the best things theyve ever done though :|
 
ya i agree, but actually LK/Rosetta Stoned is really fucking awesome too...you just need to find some of the lyric interpretations. The last three songs are sorta lackluster.
 
i actually like right in two more than rosetta stoned the lyrics are pretty cool from waht i can make out

i guess to most metalfans theyre LIBERAL HIPPIE BULLSHIT or something but i kinda like them
 
rosetta stoned is like a tripped out dude who saw an alien and learned the meaning of life BUT FORGOT HIS PEN TO WRITE DOWN THE SHIT THE ALIEN SAID, it's irony!
