RIP - Cliff Burton

A friend of mine who is a musician, had a post on his myspace page regarding the late, great CLIFF BURTON who
passed away 21 years ago. (the post is condenced due to space).

"When I think of true metalheads, an image resembling Cliff comes to mind.

I think of that everyman style, comfortable in denim, ready to swig that beer and hang with the bros.

I never met the guy, but he is the image I associate most with being a true metalhead..."

Cliff is truly a legend and is very missed.

Cliff was an AMAZING bass player with so much potential. He really made Metallica. Just think of what Metallica would be if he was still in the band. R.I.P. Cliff..... He was my biggest influence when I started playing bass!

Cliff was an elemental force. Remember, Metallica actually moved to SanFran so he could take part. (!)
