RIP Franie Banali (Quiet Riot, W.A.S.P.)

Another tough loss for me, as I remember just how good Banali was on the two best albums WASP ever released: Headless Children and Crimson Idol. In the latter, he was certainly channeling Keith moon in terms of the drum fills, which helped make that album stand out.

Very sad indeed. It was bad enough losing Pete Way earlier in the week as well.

Agreed. Aside from Neil Peart,--a punch to the gut--another one that really hurt was losing Brian Howe (Bad Company lead singer in the late 80's and early 90's)
