Just saw this on Facebook. What happened?? He was an incredible vocalist and will be missed. Loved all his work.

I saw while I was away at MDF that Steeve from ex-Gorguts also died. Will people stop dying please? Getting really sad here. srs

Tragic.. He was young, too. Onward was my favorite band for a long time. I met them at a show in Atlantic Beach, NC. There was like 8 people there for them and Angra. He would mail me demo tapes of the new Onward and Crescent Shield stuff they were working on. Damn..
I had heard the news this afternoon. It's really sad to see such a nice guy and a killer singer die so young (he was only 39). I was fortunate enough to see him twice with Onward, and I had met him through some mutual friends a few years back. He will certainly be missed.

Got to see his with both Onward and Crescent Shield. Super cool guy to talk with. Really sad news. RIP.
Terrible news. I really loved his voice- he stood out from the pack and never got the attention he deserved. He'll be missed.
RIP to a truly original singer, nobody put together vocal lines like him (that I know of anyway), one of my favorites. Really crappy news.

Thanks much for posting the news. I've being listening to a lot of Onward and CS the past week. Good to hear they will make one last disc, the demo sounds great.

Bad news. Onward and Crescent Shield both good bands. Michael a very solid vocalist. R.I.P. Mr. Grant.
