Stupid pancreatic cancer. At least now he's at peace. I still think 57 is far too young to die.

My grandfather and My wife's grandmother both died from pancreatic/liver cancer. It's fucking horrible beyond belief to watch someone waste away before your eyes. My grandfather died less than a month after the diagnosis. Rest in peace, Patrick.

I was kinda shocked when I read that PS had passed. Always seemed like such a strong actor playing strong-willed characters on the screen. R.I.P.

R.I.P. also to Jim Carroll, who passed two days ago. We'll have to add a sad verse to that "All My Friends Have Died" song of his. (He's the guy who the movie The Basketball Diaries was based on, iirc.)

haha, that movie was great too! if it was cheese and it had PS it was still top notch in my book. i found STEEL DAWN on DVD the other day. that was good too. Brian May doing the soundtrack.
