When I saw Exodus a year ago Rob was an e excellent front man. I prefer him to their old singer.

Rob Dukes is a good vocalist but I still don't think hes that great for Exodus. yeah, he suits the music, but thats not saying much. Bring back Zetro I say.

well don't get me wrong please, I like his vocals too esp. on Shovel headed kill machine but live he always tries to be ultra-aggressive and anyhow it just seems to be artificial, that is something other lead singers can do alot better and more authentic..

I'm not a big fan of Rob Dukes, more of a Steve Souza fan, but Rob sounded better than he has before on the BBB rerecordings.

I think dukes does a good job with the songs live, but there is SOMETHING about his attitude that doesn't sit right with how i see "EXODUS" as a band.... he's a seriously nice bloke though, top notch.

Yeah, I didn't get to see them play live but after the Overkill set we were meeting the band and Exodus were milling about too. I was standing on my own and Rob said "Hi, hows it going?" As he walked past me. The others barely said hi apart from Lee who proceeded to pump my mate Tom full of tequila after he'd made him a rollie.

I once gave him a touch on the shoulder just to say:"hey what's up man?" during a concert but he didn't even noticed me or paid attention.. okay maybe that was because they were just playing but I think a real cool singer would shake hands with fans who come on stage - when else do you get the possibility to meet the band members? - or just show any kind of reaction but he just ignored.. what an arrogant type.
I don't want to put down his ablities as a lead-singer he sure has it's qualities but as a person he's an idiot.

I met all the Exodus lads last year one my birthday, except Dukes. All nice lads, except Dukes who shot me a 'you gonna get raped' look during the show.

I wouldn't take that to mean he's a dick, i would take it to mean he was probably concentrating on the show. He's a lovely bloke, nobody acts on stage like they do in normal situations ie life.

well I can remember after the show the only one who was shaking hands with fans was Gary Holt, he seemed really to be a friendly guy but Dukes just disappeared as soon as possible from the stage..

I won't pass too much judgement on Rob Dukes as a person as I never actually met him, but I'll certainly say that I don't think hes quite right for Exodus. I'll leave it there.

Dukes disappears because people probably want to give him a mouthful about not being right for exodus, he gets a lot of shit. and mostly people only seem to want to talk to gary holt haha. People only seem to ask lee altus about a new heathen album. so i kinda understand if the other guys just want to bugger off and do their own thing....
