Halford is arguably the best vocalist ever. Which songs do you think best showcase his abilities?
My vote is for: Screaming for Vengance and Saints in Hell

itt dakryn moves closer to my ignore list but black blood also fails mightily. Halford has done some excellent work but is by no means the best.

Rob Halford isn't the best singer that I've ever heard, but he's definitely the best metal singer that I've ever heard.

He's not my favourite any more but he still may have been the best for a period of his life.

Owen's singing is reasonable and I enjoy his priest albums, but he's like a robot that's been programmed to be even better than Halford. He just isn't, and when he sings a slower song his accent gets on my nerves.

Judas Priest is the most overrated Metal band ever..and Tim Owens is better than Halford.

Die. Tim basically ripped off Halford's singing style so how could he be better?

The man is one of the best and anyone who doesn't realize this is a failure.

Tim never really ripped Halford off, the only real similarities are the screams.

And personally, while I love Halford the tone of some of his screams gets on my nerves sometimes whereas Owens can be a lot more smooth sounding I guess?

Either way.

70s Halford >>> 90s Owens >> Current Owens > Current Halford

Not to open a can of worms but who is better than him then? Bruce Dickinson, Ozzy, Harry Conklin, Tony Moore? No.

I wouldn't say any of those. There are a lot of power metal singers who's voices I simply find more pleasing.

Osbourne is a shitty vocalist, by the way.

From a technical standpoint he's obviously a fantastic singer, but I don't really care about that. I think his vocals are really good but there are loads of singers I enjoy more than him. I like Jioti Parcharidis's work with Human Fortress more, for example.

Comparing singers is kind of futile unless they sing in almost exactly the same style.

"Victim of Changes" alone proves that Dakryn is really a little girl who should be listening to Destiny's Child.

A graphical representation of Rob Halford's voice to my ears. Destiny's Child has more balls than Halford.
