I have Mad and I have to tell you...I'm really dissapointed. I feel that Rob has run out of tricks and not even a guitarrist like John 5 can save him now.

as a long time zombie fan is it worth getting for $10? i didn't really like educated horses that much though. rob says cd's are on the way out and this is probaby his last physical release because sales of cd's are dropping. maybe his cd sales are dropping due to subpar material since his first solo album

I suggest you give it a listen before buying it, Matt. Or at least listen to the tracks on Myspace, that should give you an idea. I know Educated wasn't great but I just couldn't find anything to hold on to in this album

i listened to the myspace tracks and they sounded like commercial junk but then again i thought the same thing about foxy foxy and that was the worst tune on educated horses, the rest of it sounded nothing like that

This is a step up from the last album but not surprisingly it has two good tracks on it just like the last album. The only saving grace is
John 5's guitar work that said but a used copy if you are so inclined.
John 5 is working with David Lee Roth on the next solo album this should be a return to form for Roth and hopefully John 5 tours when Roth hots the raod behind the album.

Van Halen doing something was only an assumption by fans. Roth is hard at work on a new solo album. I think we'll get new music from Roth and Chickenfoot before Van Halen decides to record a track or two for another hits package....

I liked this album. Yea, I think White Zombie is totally amazing, as was some of Rob's earlier work in his solo career, but I did think this was something fresh to listen to. I saw Rob when he came to Kansas City recently, and it was one of the best shows I've seen. He has so much energy and keeps you entralled.
