According to The Pulse Of Radio, Rob Zombie has announced a special one-night-only screening of his new movie, "31", which will take place at movie theaters around the U.S. on September 1. The event will also include two exclusive music video premieres for the songs "The Hideous Exhibitions Of A Dedicated Gore Whore" and "Get Your Boots On! That's The End Of Rock And Roll", along with a new "making-of '31'" featurette and a question-and-answer session with Zombie filmed specifically for this event. Tickets for this special screening event can be purchased online by visiting the official Fathom Events web site. "I think this is the one the Zombie-heads have been waiting for — a nonstop barrage of insane characters trapped in an intensely violent situation," said Zombie. "I am thrilled to finally get this out to the fans." The special screening will happen ahead of the movie's wide theatrical release on October 21. The first trailer for the film arrived in June. The movie follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game and survive 12 hours against a gang of sadistic clowns. "31" stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell, Jeff Daniel Phillips and Meg Foster. Zombie had to submit multiple cuts of the film to the MPAA ratings board to get an R rating, after the group slapped the film with an NC-17 twice. Zombie has said that an unrated cut of the film will be issued on DVD.
