Rob Zombie will appear as a special guest judge on Spike TV’s hit reality competition series "Ink Master" on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The rocker-turned-filmmaker will hold a pivotal role in deciding the contestants' future in this cutthroat tattoo competition. In the episode, the contestants will show off their abilities by creating the most fearsome demons to impress Zombie's tantalizing tastes. Zombie receives a standing ovation from the remaining contestants, and they work hard to impress this master. "Ink Master" is a weekly competition series where tattoo artists from around the country battle it out in permanent ink for a $100,000 grand prize, an editorial feature in Inked and, of course, the bragging rights title of "ink master." Each week "Ink Master" puts artist through a series of tattoo challenges that are not only designed to test the artists' technical skills, but also their on-the-spot creativity, where they must create and execute an original tattoo by command on a "human canvas." Each episode focuses on a different and distinct style of tattooing including realism, black and gray, geometric, neo-traditional, Asian and cover-up, among others. The masterpieces these artists create will last a lifetime, but so will their mistakes. After every challenge, the contestants face a tough panel made up of series host Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION) and world-renowned tattoo artists Chris Nunez ("Miami Ink") and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo) and a roster of guest judges. "Ink Master" was Spike TV’s highest-rated and most-watched original series of 2013. "Ink Master" kicked off its fourth season on February 25 and will culminate with a live finale on Tuesday, May 20. New episodes premiere weekly on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The competition began with 17 contestants and has been whittled down to eight. The remaining contestants are: * "Gentle" Jay Blondel from North Bellmore, New York;* Lydia Bruno from Glens Falls, New York;* Kyle Dunbar from Flint, Michigan;* Walter “Sausage” Frank from Las Vegas, Nevada;* Halo from Severn, Maryland;* Matti Hixson from West Virginia;* Scott Marshall from Roselle, Illionois;* Melissa Monroe from Port Washington, Wisconsin
