Some career achievements in rock music are so impressive but find themselves overlooked because they are not to be believed. For legendary rockers Zebra, they hold one of those distinctions that the average listener might not be aware of.

Zebra is the longest-running American band still touring with all its original members. Comprised of Randy Jackson, Felix Hanemann, Guy Gelso and formed in New Orleans in 1975, these original band members have performed together every year for the last 50 years.

2025 will continue that trend as the band is heading out on their Zebra 50 – 2025 Anniversary Tour. New dates have been added to the band’s previously announced performances in celebration of 50 years of performing together live. More dates will be announced in the future.

Information on all shows including ticket links and access to VIP experiences can be found on the band’s official website, here.

To commemorate their 50th Anniversary, Zebra has been in the studio working on the follow up to 2003’s Zebra IV – the last album the band released. The guys have reunited with legendary producer Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, and the New York Dolls) who also produced the band’s first two – and most successful – albums. The band plans to announce the first single this spring and more information on the band’s upcoming release will be available in the future.

Zebra is an American rock band formed in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Known for blending hard rock with progressive influences, the band achieved success in the 1980s with a distinctive sound marked by powerful guitar riffs and melodic vocals. Originally signed to Atlantic Records in the Summer of 1982; Zebra’s self-titled debut (produced by Jack Douglas) was the fastest selling debut album in the label’s history – a record the band still holds to this day. Powered by their hits “Tell Me What You Want” and “Who’s Behind the Door?”, the debut album sold 75,000 copies in the first week, quickly achieved Gold-certified status, and showcased their ability to combine classic rock elements with a more experimental edge. Zebra has since released three more studio albums: No Tellin’ Lies (1984), 3.V (1986), and Zebra IV (2003). With a dedicated fan base, their music remains influential in the rock scene. The band’s iconic lineup includes Randy Jackson, Guy Gelso, and Felix Hanemann. As the longest-running American band still touring with its original members, Zebra has performed together every year for the last 50 years. Their sound remains a masterclass in rock, and the band plans to showcase it on their upcoming fifth full-length studio album, set for release in 2025.
