Greets peeps! Or some other kind of crap like that...a must use slang kinda day fo' me.

Anyway, for those of you in the Missouri area, or nearby states check out one of the bands on our roster:

Verbal Narcotic

A killer band with a self professed gothic death sound, kind of a Pantera/Slayer/Motorhead cross pollenation is really what they sound like. Two albums pre-Rock M. Hard Records entitled World of Corruption, and the second entitled Blind Aggression. World of Corruption album had some good tunes on it but wasn't all that it could be, but the band really surpassed themselves with the Blind Aggression album, which is as good as anything out there today.

We're looking forward to hearing the finished and much anticipated third album, as yet untitled, to be released on our label, and we've already had the opportunity to hear some of the new music and what people say about this band is true...every time they play, they evolve into something greater.

Check out this quote from one of the bands they played with recently, Three Headed Moses, also a great band in the Missouri area:
"Then it was time for us all to get our fix of Verbal Narcotic. I cant say enough about how GOOD these guys are. The only thing better than thier music is the guys themselves. Thats why we consider them our "Brother Band." They threw down relentlessly and even did an encore!!! They had everyone moshing, slamming into each other and slamming beers. It's always a great pleasure to be a part of thier shows. MAny thanks goes to Verbal Narcotic (it truly IS an addiction)"

They play a heavy show schedule, usually averaging 7-10 shows a month, and are now beginning to wind down the 2004 calendar year with less and less shows. Make sure you get out to see them while you still can this year...it's worth it....here's what's left of their schedule for Missouri shows:
August 12th-Benders, 1118 McGee, Kansas City, MO 9:00pm
August 13th-The Bunker, 816-737-3660 , Independence, MO 9:00pm
August 20th-C.A.R.E Benefit for Abused Children 6486 W. Hwy 266, Springfield, MO 8:30pm
August 21st, 2004-Creepy Crawl 412 N. Tucker, St Louis, MO 9:00pm
August 28th-Cully's Pub, Park Central West, Springfield, MO 9:00pm
September 11th-Billiards Blue Room, on the Square, Springfield, MO 9:00 pm
September 18th-Jokers Wild, 4205-B Route CC, Jefferson City, MO 9:00pm
October 16th-Jokers Wild, 4205-B Route CC, Jefferson City, MO 9:00pm

You can find their website located at:
http://verbalnarcotic.0catch.com/ WATCH OUT FOR POP-UPS!!! We're working on changing that for them to a domain, but until then, they get roughly 14,000 hits a month where they're at.

By visiting their website, or the Rock M. Hard Records site, you can find their merchandise, tour dates, latest news, etc.

They will be interviewing with KRMS 93.5 on Sunday the 15th at 11:00 am, will be included on the Axe to Grind Compilation by Rock M. Hard Records, and are currently contemplating an offer by Statue Music Group to license and release some of the music from their Blind Aggression album.

Check them out, you won't be disappointed...
