Rock mix with girl singer! woowooo

Finally getting to work with some more clean vocals! I'm super new to mixing more rock oriented stuff, so I'm not really sure if I'm doing it justice. We didn't have a chance to do any of the harmonies, yet, so the vocals are a little(lotta) bland.

Thanks man! I'm actually going to have them rewrite the vocal parts. The whole band kind of put their singer on the spot by changing the length of lots of parts in the song at the last minute. I'm mostly concerned with how the vocals sit.. I haven't had too much experience with this kind of work, so I'm finding it a little hard to make the vocals gel with the rest of the mix.

So I pulled down the 3k area in the fiddles, did some volume automation, raised the snare's level, and changed the overdrive in the super overdriven bass parts.

love it man, wouldnt change much, guitars seem to have a little mud, but could just be my desktop speakers ahha
