I just finished listening to both Genius Rock Opera, and Missa Mercuria.
Genius Rock Opera - written by former Empty Tremor keyboardist Daniele Liverani. This is more in the vein of Star One but with a continuing story. Liverani is joined by vocalists Mark Boals, Lana Lane, Daniel Gildenlow !!!, Steve Walsh and a few more. Quite a good album, but not really an opera - more of a prog concept album, but great vocals make a great buy.

Missa Mercuria - Awesome! Close to being album of the year for me. This album is very classy and features: DC Cooper, most of Vanden Plas, a couple of female singers. The project is basically DC Cooper's, as it features a whole heap of his mates. Has more of an operatic feel than Genius. Fans of DC Cooper's solo album, and Vanden Plas will love it.
