I recorded this band in an untreated dining room that they practice in.
distorted guitars were a 57 and an I5 on i think an egnater combo. the 57 was on the cone with the i5 pointed towards the edge of the speaker.
Acoustic was a Sm7b on the hole and a 57 pointed towards the 12th fret.
Vocals were a sm7b.
drums were a pearl custom session kit with audix om-2s as overheads
sm7b on the kick
57 on the snare
i5 on the hi hats
all the mics went through my profire 2626 into pro tools.
