Who else will be there for the SIGH / NOVEMBERS DOOM show?

I saw on the Pearl Room listing as you guys playing second....but it the Pearl Room so who knows.

I am starting to like that venue more and more each time I go there. I just wish they did a better job of finazling and promoting the lineups prior to the shows.
So many of their shows don't even have the openers advertised.
What if a local band is booked that you want to see?
You might not even know about it.
On the flipside, like with Candlemass, they added one or two unannounced openers, which made for a long evening.

If the club doesn't promote the opening bands, YOU guys need to let the club know you're unhappy about it. The more people that voice their concern, the more it helps to get the clubs to react. We've been on them for months about promoting us for this show, and we have minimal exposure from them about it. We're not happy to say the least.
You raise a good point Paul I just e-mailed the following to Atomique Productions who are putting on the show in Victoria.

Paul - I have emailed someone from FM entertainment (or whoever is the promotion Co there) about opening bands in the past. There have been some shows where I actually had to correct them about the date of the show on their My Space. They never know when I ask who the openers are. Usually, the only place I see the openers advertised is on Chicago Metal Factory (Who I am sure must get the update from the band themself).

Fuck... Atomique are morons. I got a response back saying they'd post the two openers immediately and they sure did! Apparently a punk band from England called "Doom" is opening for Rotting Christ. I e-mailed them back with the correct band name. Geez how does this company manage to book shows.

The opening band (assuming there's only one, I've only seen one listed) plays first, then us, then Unexpect, then Sigh.
Knowing how things go, stage times may change, so my suggestion for those coming to see us is to get there EARLY. Being that it's a sunday and an all ages show, the show can't run late so who knows how times and lengths will go.

PR is notorious for adding on 2 or 3 unannounced locals.
Their My Space says the show starts at 7PM.
I was thinking the same thing about it being a Sunday.
What time is the band planning on being there?
I know I may come off as a pain in the ass asking these questions, but the venue doesn't give the show goer a warm and fuzzy about these things.
