Ronnie James Dio delivers!!!!!

RJD proved once and for all last night that he is indeed the King of Rock n Roll!
Not sure if anyone else has caught the current Deep Purple / Scorpions / Dio tour but Dio kicked ass last night in Massachusettes. I was never a big Scorpions fan, but they put on a good show. Deep Purple were good as always, but opener Dio stole the show for sure.
His set consisted of the following:
3 new songs - Kill the Dragon, Push and Rock n Roll.
He also played The Man on the Silver Mountain, Long Live Rock n Roll, Children of the Sea, Heaven and Hell, Holy Diver, Stand Up and Shout, The Last in Line and fucking EGYPT !!!! (the Chains are on)
I havent heard him do that song live in a VERY long time.
(On his last tour he played Invisible, another long lost classic)

Dio - proving that stagnant set lists SUCK!

I can't believe he played Egypt! I absolutely LOVE that song and am going to see Dio 7/18 at the Rock Fest in Cadott,WI! I hope he plays the exact same set because I've seen Dio twice before and never has he played that or Children Of The Sea!!!!!!!!
