Ronnie James Dio's exact age seems to be one of the great enigmas of metal. I actually read somewhere that he was sixty two. Other sources say he is about 55. At any rate he may well be the oldest guy ever in a metal band.
Having said that, I think the man is a legend and a singer that has influenced countless others.

Dio played a gig in my hometown recently (July 4th) and I missed it for some stupid reason I guess. And from what I've heard the gig was great and that doesn't make me feel any better since I missed it.

Anyways, salute to RJD. He's the living proof that metal never dies!
