Ronnie Monrow/Metal Church to join JOP at BARF

Metal Church frontman, Ronny Munroe, will join Jon Oliva's Pain on stage to close out the nights festivities at the Bay Area Rock Fest next weekend May 4-5.

Having shared the stage with Metal Church last year, including an unscheduled cover-tune jam at Spain's Metal Wayz Festival in Gernika 2006, we are honored to have Ronnie performing with us once again.

Special thanks to Ronnie for donating his valuable time in helping to raise money and awareness for the "Guitar's Not Guns" charity for this very cool festival!

Fuck me...it's been totally galling me that I'm not going this year...and it seems like it's truly going to be a groundbreaking event in the North American metal scene (much like PPUSA has been)...

At this point, I'll just sulk in a corner and begin planning my attendance for (what will hopefully be a very successful) year 2.

Those of you that are going...we're going to need reports...
