The Roots record from the Sep boys was definetlely in my mind the start of this whole jumdafuckup / nu metal movement.

PS: Why is a grown man wearing a backpack while playing guitar on stage? :erk:

Roots fucking rules. This POS video is taking too long to load.

maybe he has BEEEAAAARREERRRRSS in it. but that wouldn't make sense because he's jumping up and down a whole bunch and that would be a waste of perfectly good beer.

Needs more Igor.

Roots is an album that depends on large naked men playing large naked drums, otherwise the simplistic riffs end up sounding like well, THAT.

People still visit the Roadrunner Records website? FOr what, to look at Nickelback?

Holy shit, those guys are rich!! From what? That one radio song and the Spiderman theme? I saw the lead singer/guitarist on MTV's cribs (yeah, believe it, it was on just after Pimp My Ride which rules) and not only was his wife stunning, his house was a mansion, he had an enormous studio built into the house in one of the 200 rooms, 30 acres, quadbikes, outdoor rock swimming pool....

loaded > skint

I have no doubt that Chad Kroger is loaded. Nickelback has had far more than one radio song. They've had about 4 or 5. Not to mention he, and he alone, wrote the Spider Man song (with special appearance by someone), so he gets lots of royalties from it.

I admit I like that Spider Man song.

But watching MTV Cribs is inexcuseable. Am I suppose to be impressed with all the unneccessary bullshit people buy with money? :Smug:
