They say misery loves company. Originally born as a one-man incarnation which soon became four, Rote Mare is heavy traditional doom metal with epic and melodic touches. Influenced by the 70's doom/rock of Black Sabbath combined with the 80's doom and metal of Trouble & Celtic Frost through to the more recent sounds of Reverend Bizarre, Rote Mare combine all these elements into their own unique but traditional style.
released [& distributed in France] by Altsphere Production | Distribution over Code7 via PlasticHead [UK, Eire] & Twilight Vertrieb [Rest of the world]

14/20 (VS Webzine)
