rumored Rush/Porcupine Tree tour in 06

Of course it's way to early to speculate about a tour for an album that hasn't been recorded yet. But what a show that would be. Porcupine Tree would be an ideal opener for Rush. I can't think of another band that deserves to be exposed to a wider audience.

I dunno about this one. PT is awesome and all but it could cut into the 3 hours of Rush... come on now.

I wouldn't throw it out the window though, Neil is a big PT fan.

I hear Rush is still one of the best live bands around.

I haven't seen PT live but no matter, they have their work cut out for them if this happens. They have to open for one of the best bands of all time(imo) and face 10,000+ angry Rush fans who just want to skip to the main event.
