Just got back from my little shopping spree at Tower Records. Picking are somewhat slim, but not for the underground metal fan...woohoo. Only one more day after today...they close their doors tomoroow night!

Here's my $30 haul:

Sikth - Death of a Dead Day (total prize! Anyone into progressive math metal ala BTBAM & DEP must check this out!!)
BTBAM - The Anatomy Of
Kayo Dot - Dowsing Anemone With Copper Tongue
Beyond Fear - S/T
Ephel Duath - A Painter's Palette
God Forbid - Determination
Beseech - Souls Highway
My Ruin - The Brutal Language
Thine Eyes Bleed - In The Wake of Separation
Illogicist - Subjected


And they still had a ton I didn't buy...like the latest Shadow's Fall release (demo stuff), Autumn Offering, Angel Blake, plenty of Fozzy...hehe, and more copies of a few of the ones I got. At least pick up the Sikth for $3!!!

Which one? Army Trail?
They still had some stuff I wanted like Amorphis, Dissection, the Gathering, etc. Prolly all gone though. I will go there tomorrow after work for sure.

for stuff that either sounded/looked cool or was something I was
remotely familiar with, just like the old days. :)

all for $36.11! ha hopefully i like most of it....
 
I went to the one on Army Trail last night, only to find a vacant store with no lights on.............

I guess they shut their doors before the Schaumburg one.
