According to sources close to the band, Rush's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled studio album will feature 13 songs, three of which exceed seven minutes in length! Only nine songs have mixed and mastered at an undisclosed studio in Toronto with producer Paul Northfield. Frontman/bassist Geddy Lee's voice is said to be in classic form and drummer Neil Peart is filling the TOOL-influenced comeback with plenty of double-kicks. The record has taken 14 months to write and record and it appears that there is an 85% chance that Rush will tour the world.
