Russell Allen says that there are "no future plans" for SYMPHONY X to work on a new album or tour, explaining that he is "a hundred percent committed" to his other band ADRENALINE MOB. SYMPHONY X released its latest album, "Underworld", in 2015 and completed an extensive tour behind the effort, including a U.S. run of shows with OVERKILL and a pair of headlining performances in Australia last October. Asked by Metal Wani in a new interview if SYMPHONY X will regroup next year to begin work on new material or play some more gigs, Russell said (hear audio below): "No plans at this time, no. I don't see anything in the foreseeable future with that, because we… I know [guitarist and main songwriter Michael] Romeo is talking about doing a solo record he's been working on and some other stuff, and the other guys are doing the same. There's been no talk of a new album, there's been no talk of any touring, and so… "To be honest with you, I'm a hundred percent committed to [ADRENALINE MOB] and that's what I'm about right now," he admitted. "So if you wanna come see me sing in the next few years or forever, however long this thing goes on for, then you're gonna see me in the MOB. There's no future plans for SYMPHONY X at this time." ADRENALINE MOB — which features Allen alongside guitarist Mike Orlando, drummer Jordan Cannata and bassist David Zablidowsky (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA) — will release its third studio album, "We The People", on June 2 via Century Media. ADRENALINE MOB will embark on a 30-date U.S. tour on June 16 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Support on all dates will come from the Canadian band THE WILD!
