RUTHLESS (USA) have signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS! The band is currently in the studio with Producer Bill Metoyer working on their next release. More news coming soon.

The release date of the new RUTHLESS album "They Rise" on CD is January 30th 2015. The preorder phase will start on January 17th 2015 in our webshop.

With their EP „Metal Without Mercy“ (1984) and the album „Discipline Of Steel“ from 1986 RUTHLESS from L.A. got a special place in the hearts of all US Metal fans. Since 1990, the Californians were on hiatus for almost 20 years. The revival took place at Keep It True in 2009. Five years later we’re finally proud to announce the first studio album after almost 30 years.

With „They Rise“ the quartet stick back to their their roots: Classical, straight-forward and sometimes aggressive US Metal, powered by a tight rhythm-section, thundering doublebass and great, thundering riffing. Original frontman Sammy DeJohn meanwhile sings with a higher voice than known before, but still delivers the aggression of the good, old days. Additionally to the nine new songs we put the whole „Metal Without Mercy“-EP on the album as bonus. With classics like „Gates Of Hell“ and „Metal Without Mercy“ every real Metalhead will be completely satisfied.

RUTHLESS is back in their old strength; the cult is still alive!

The Californians RUTHLESS are still active in this decade and with "Evil Within" they put out their newest effort after the comeback album “They Rise” from 2015 through Pure Steel Records again. Guitarist Ken McGee and singer Sammy DeJohn hold the flag of US Metal high since 1982. Famed for their classic EP from 1984 “Metal Without Mercy” and the 1986 debut “Discipline Of Steel”, RUTHLESS are still standing for stainless steel in 2019. The new album contains nine compositions composed by the young team members - Sandy K. Vasquez (bass) and Chris Westfall (guitar) - as well as by Ken McGee. Powerful US Metal, as it is rarely conceived these days is delivered to any fan of the genre. Mighty as ever - RUTHLESS.
