I didn't really like what I played of Sacred 1 (which was just the demo)... with all the bugginess that I've heard Sacred 2 has, I'll probably just wait for Diablo III for my next hack & slash RPG.

What I've heard is that the bugs don't stop you from playing the game, rather they are things like broken quests. Those I've seen who've played it say that it's worth playing even with the bugs, and patches keep coming out. I never played Sacred 1, so I don't even really know what it's like.

While I love the BG song, I thought the game was pretty sucky. Didn't like it very much.

By the way, my Xbox 360 just experienced the Red Ring of Death. Has anyone ever had that happen?

Ahhhh... the RRoD... I know of which you speak, young grasshopper.

Sorry I'm late in replying, but Microsoft actually made the return process pretty painless for me - and mine happened over a year ago. I have read recently that they no longer send the "coffin" out (you have to find your own box for shipping) but hopefully it will speed the return/exchange process. After I shipped mine in it took 10 days for me to have a new unit in my hands. Good luck, and I hope you're back online and gaming soon, Milton.

I have read recently that they no longer send the "coffin" out (you have to find your own box for shipping) but hopefully it will speed the return/exchange process. Unfortunately I only have another year and a half. Microsoft will not fix them for free once you hit the 3 year mark. I'm honestly worried about it, because the last thing I wanna do in the next few years is to buy another system.

I must say though, playing old PS and PS2 classics has been fun this past week.

I don't have one, but I've heard the exact opposite. Supposedly the newer units have much better cooling hardware in them. If you clean the air vents regularly (which you should do anyway, just like with your computer), they should last much longer.

When mine was shipped back, it was a completely different unit (new serial # and everything) and so far I have not had any problems with the replacement (knock on wood.) I suspect they don't actually fix your exact console, but rather ship a refurb in order to expedite the turnaround. Sounds as though you'll have your 360 back in time for the new COD:WAW Map Pack 2!
