Sacred Reich & Flotsam and Jetsam

I think F&J are more essential to the metal collection than Sacred Reich, but I might just be saying that out of ignorance of the latter's catalog. I do see more accolades hailed upon F&J, though. "Doomsday..." and "No Place for Disgrace" are good, and "Drift" has some great songs on it as well ("Empty Air", "Smoked Out").

Sacred Reich I would suggest:

Ignorance - 1987
The American Way - 1990

These two albums are more thrash, anything after isn't as thrash but still aggressive.

Yeah, Sacred Reich peaked with Surf Nicaragua with the thrash. I think this album also had a cover of War Pigs that in my opinion was the best rendition of this song by anyone. Not too many songs on this disc. Following this I'd take Heal.

Now that recall, I have two copies of Independent, the only time I ever accidentally bought a CD that I already had.:Smug: E-mail me with your address, D.V., and I'll send it to you.

I'll take Flots anyday, must have No Place For Discrace.

Ok lets see First Flots:
Cuatro
High
My god
Drift
When the storm comes down
Sacred reich Now here is a band that ya just dont hear enough about round here VERY underated their first album Ignorance kinda sucked but.....oh well If ya wanna get some good reich than pick up:
Independant
The american Way
And HEAL
Those 3 are sure fire you should love'em

I remember the first tune that got me into Sacred Reich was Surf Nicaragua. Whatever you get make sure that tune is also included. The American Way is a great album!!!!

I was never that much into Flotsam although I liked some tunes here and there like Suffer the Masses.
