I don't see what the big deal is. I've had my cell phone for a year and a half, and it comes in quite handy. I don't see the point in putting games and all that crap on them, but I'm not going to condemn them all because those kinds of things are available.

I get a new cellphone as soon as my current one breaks. That happens every 18 months or so. The same goes with computers, onlynot quite as often. More like every 2-3 years or so. I have a regular that comes in to my restaurant that writes for the Washington Post. He said he used the same typewriter for 50 years and when he finally got a computer in the early 90's, he's had to replace it every couple of years. I can see the gripes about technology. It makes people rich and others employed.

Now when I see a lot kids walking to school and entering school and some broad is chewing on her cell phone and driving a huge SUV and coming close to running someone over that pisses me off. What call is so important you can't wait a 1/4 to 1/2 to make. Here's the convo "I douched last night and got my pink grannies on my fat ass today" "and yeah Sizzler all you can eat sounds real good for lunch too, I hope they got the diet soda thingy fixed today". **barely misses two kids and an old man waliking his grand daughter to school**....***blabs some more, hangs up and then farts***

I'm glad I had mine when I hit a deer on the freeway so I could call the police to make a report. I imagine there are countless situations when they are even more important than that.
Most people that I find driving like assclowns are usually talking on cell phones. I can't even drive while talking on one. I admit it. So I don't do it.

Very rarely will I talk on my cell phone when I'm driving, unless it rings and its important, I do however make it short, and I still pay attention to the speed limit and the road. Nothing irritates me more than when someone is driving 15 miles under the speed limit and when you pass them up, they are talkin on there cell phone totally oblivious to everything around them. :hotjump:
