OK so here goes the story.
I have never heard of Salem's Wych before some weeks ago. A mate in another forum warned about a contest the band was helding on their website http://www.salemswych.com. It was the opportunity of winning their only album from 1986, I didn't won but I get the second prize (a great t-shirt to be wear soon at the Hammerfall concert).
Not only that but Mark Gast the guitar player sent me their new single to be played in Metal Radio. He sent the CD and a personnal letter, which is damn cool. The song is called 'Blasphemy' and is pure Old School, very good vocals, nor sweetended, nor growly. The guitar work is concise, simple and effective. Nice pounding riff all along and I'm sure that anyone here that could listen to it will agree.
If anyone have the chance to catch the single please check it, their album will follow up soon and I'm sure it'll be another good release for 2005.
