Saluda cymbals?

Been looking at cymbals a lot recently and came across these guys. They look awesome and are priced pretty cheap. All of the youtube videos sound pretty good, but if anyone here has any advice/experience I'd like to hear it!

I've heard a few of the crashes and they've all sound pretty good.

Also, check out http://www.cymbalsonly.com/cymbals/agop/agop.htm - I bought a 17" Istanbul Crash a few years ago and it's still my favorite cymbal to date.

saluda = rebranded STAGG. they break fast in my first hand experience and the guy is terrible with customer service. may as well buy straight from stagg.

Wow! Thanks for the info! I've got a really conservative touch with cymbals (never broken one in my life...), so I am not too worried about cymbal breaking.

Checked out stagg... the black metal cymbals look awesome

I've ordered some cymbals from him in the past, 12/16/18/14 (with the 14 being the only lasting). 12 cracked with a couple hits...

honestly. if u like them. just buy stagg. they are to some peoples tastes. but everyone on the pearldrummersforum who loved them now realises they are stagg cymbals except the few ignorant loyal people.

Stagg 'blanks' perhaps but I Jamie (their cymbalsmith) does do work on them... he can customize them to your wishes.

I think they're nice cymbals but they have some alloy inconsistencies like most chinese cymbals do

I had some Saluda mist hybrids and I thought they sounded pretty sick... but that was YEARS ago. Before they became retarded expensive.
