Saracist- Peaceful Calm and the Violent Storm

My band will be recording its first CD this febuary, entitled Peaceful calm and the violent storm, dont ask about the title, the drummer came up with it. I hate labeling music i create, because i think thats a job for the listener, but i guess we would fall under the catagorey of Progressive Heavy Metal. Influences include SymphonyX, Blind Guardian, Death, Dream Theatre. The CD will include 10 original Saracist songs, and a cover of Dead Skin Mask by Slayer, and Pull the Plug by Death. If anyone is interested, it will probably cost anywhere from $5-$10.

Yea. The Death song is just a tribute to the band in general, and the Slayer cover is because me and the other guitarist are die-hard slayer fans, even though most of the songs dont particularly sound like slayer.
