For those who miss old style Blind Guardian, go on Savage Circus' official web site, you can download their first single. Sounds like classy BG, great stuff. It's BG's ex-drummer with Persuader's singer/guitarist and Iron Savior's bassist.

Killer album indeed. If you heard it without knowing, you WOULD think it was a new Blind Guardian album (or a lost one I should say since it is older BG influenced). I think it is safe to say the drummer dude missed the old days - not the over produced quintillion layered vocal BG.

Quite my opinion about this also. I've never been a big BG fan, because I discovered them in their ANatO days and wasn't too impressed with the operatic stuff. Persuader's singer is probably the best alternative Hansi Kursh (sp?) we can get.

SC is a BG clone... if I didn't love the BG style so much I'd hate them for it.

The tracks I've heard are great.

This is great. I just got the cd yesterday. It's very much in the vein of the first two Blind Guardian albums and some Twilight/Somewhere Far Beyond. Very good stuff. Brings me way back.
