With all of this thrash talk lately I am shocked that nobody has mentioned (I used the search function and couldn't find any reference) the full-length debut by the UK quartet Savage Messiah. Insurrection Rising kicks some major ass and they deserve some props with their version of modern-day thrash...you will hear bits and pieces of Megadeth, Testament, and Exodus among others in their delivery...but it is not any of that retro-idolization crap...this seems fresh and focused for a debut...IMHO.
