they were an unbelievable german experimental progressive metal band....

now they are disbanded (they started in 1990)but pretty the same line up form a new band called
STEP IN TO LIQUID:

they have a female singer that i really like called MELA BOCK...she is also a painter(this is a story that i already know ...it resemble me someone that we all very well know)

they are for sure an incredible and sadly underrated band...

PLEASE CODE 666 HELP THEM TO MAKE THEIR MUSIC!

Hi dimensionidol,

I do know Megace, though I have to admit I haven´t listened to them for probably more than a decade! I still have got their "This Is The News"-demo from 1990 and I know I liked it very much way back then. When Melanie sings very aggressive, she reminds me of Sabina Classen from Holy Moses, but I think Melanie covers a wider range with her voice than Sabina does.
I´ve just put the "This Is The News"-demo in my tape-deck and it seems it still works - after 13 years! Right now I´m listening to "Repetitions Of Human Errors" - really nice guitar solos, hm, perhaps I should start listening to it more often again. I also have got the first CD by Megace, "Human Errors" from 1991, but I know that I was somewhat disappointed by the sound. I preferred the rougher sound on their demo-tape and therefore I didn´t listen to the album that much.
Didn´t Monika also mention Megace in one of her posts? (Or was it in some interview?)

this is Andreas the drummer of Step Into Liquid (and also Megace).

Thanks for the intresst in MEGACE.
After we released our second Megace album "Inner War" We now started a new chapter with Step Into Liquid.
