Saw Helmet the other night

Awesome show. Small venue (about 600), and they were very cool. Helmet has always been basically 'Page Hamilton and friends', but they were tight as fuck, and the chemistry between the band was great. It was the last show of the tour too and they were obviously enjoying themselves.

The best part of it was the fact that they played the whole classic Meantime show in its entirity - backwards - and finished with In The Meantime. Gold!

There's no many awesome bands coming to Adelaide I want to check out in the next few months! Lacuna Coil, Opeth (a must!!), Meshuggah, Soilwork this week, Sebastian Bach, and more. The wallet is looking empty and the missus cranky, hahah!!!
