...the best part of the set was when he played Tornado of Souls..... how embarrassing....

Seriously, some of the most sickening J-pop melodies I have ever had the displeasure of having to listen to.... dude needs to play in someone else's band, not his own.

His solo stuff has never fit the mold of what Megadeth fans were used to. His 'Tokyo Jukebox' album was probably the closest thing to his older playing style on 'Scenes' and 'Introduction' than any of his other solo work. I do wish him and Dave would suck it up and have him re-join Megadeth, but that will never happen. Oh well. I still love me some Friedman. xD

*just to clarify* He was playing the venue I work at, I didn't (wouldn't) pay for it.
But it was really weird, pretty much the entire crowd was made up of Megadeth fans, and they loved it!!!
I was a total :OMG: moment

He is like one of my favorite lead guitarists ever, at least judging by his cacophony and megadeth songs. don't like his solo stuff either.

Metal needs guitar players like marty friedman again.

What, don't like Dragon's Kiss?
That album has some of his most incredible guitar playing on it.

I have seen Megadeth four times with Marty and loved it every time. That being said I bought one of his solo cd's a long time ago and it was really not what I was looking for.

I don't want him to rejoin Megadeth. He is a different guy now and wouldn't fit in with what Megadeth is doing now with endgame.
