Bob:

You should avoid these albums like the plague. You will not like them. Mix of symphonic rock, jazz, and blues. Early albums are very bluesy. Great musicianship but really, really ,really horrible vocals. The instrumental sections can be breathtaking but then the vocals kick in and its like driving into a wall at 100mph.

Just my opinion...
