Do you think that there's any chance we'll ever see an official reissue for them?

I feel the quality is easily on par with the Dark Tranquillity demo's personally.

I'm pretty sure the answer is a clear no. The band has let us understand they're not very proud of their pre-DT efforts. If the Septic Broiler demo was ever going to be re-released, it would have been on this Yesterworlds compilation. The likelyhood of them going back for something they've tried to forget for almost twenty years is pretty much zero.

And, personally, I don't think the Septic Broiler demo is quite on par with the early DT stuff. It's a minor curiosity at best.

Villain is right. If the S.B. demo ever would have been re-released officially, it would have been on "Yesterworlds". We considered this for a second, but since none of us is that fond of that recording, it'd just be silly and dishonest to put it there and market it as something special and ultra rare. The demo is easy enough to find online for those who are curious about it.

I kinda thought that would be the answer, especially considering that the band isn't very proud of the Sceptic Broiler stuff, but I still quite enjoyed it personally.

Ahh well, at least Exposures has all the early DT material on it :)

They're trying so hard to forget those times, Niklas doesn't even dare type the full name of the band
