Daaaaamn, the new Scheepers album is goooood. :) Basically, it's like a slightly more hard rock version of Primal Fear, although most songs would not have been out of place on 16.6. Very cool to see Magnus Karlsson of Allen-Lande & Primal Fear on rhythm guitars, Mat Sinner on bass, and Snowy Shaw on Drums - plus a slew of guest guitar solos.

Coolest moments for myself include the Ripper Owens/Scheepers duel on Remission of Sin and his cover of Before the Dawn. Basically, if you love Primal Fear, Priest, old school metal, check it out.

i listened to almost the entire thing online. problem is no store or website has a physical version to purchase. everywhere i go i see it backorder and when cdnow says ships in 9-12 days or something like that it is actually out of stock

I'm sure it'll surface on Laser's Edge or The End soon, and of course there's always eBay.

In the end is no different from an average Primal Fear album like "Black Sun". I like 'Saint Of Rock' and definitively his cover of 'Before The Dawn', still no see the point of releasing this album. I'll understand if Ralf decided to make a symphonic rock or a doom metal album, something out of his normal stuff, that would have made more sense to me, but it's alright.
Most probably gonna get this puppy.

he said these songs date back years and at the time were songs that didn't fit the current primal fear album and even if they fit on albums that followed he saved them for a solo release
