Why not. 4k chip, Beyerpattern so 4K/4 for RGB+G then interpolation up to 2k. You realy cant judge the picture of the camera from a internet stream, you have to watch it on a full HD tv or a cinema to realy see the difference to a real 35mm film camera or a arri d21.

the only thing what you can judge is the field of depth, but you get the same picture quality with a nikon d90 for internet videos....

Haha, thanks mate. My post was more in the sarcastic vein of oogling over the camera instead of the subject. I'm quite familiar with the RED One, in fact the next production I'll be on will use a RED One.

Though...this looks like a job for RED Epic.
