Zisis Petkanas of Greece's Rock Overdose recently conducted an interview with vocalist Klaus Meine of German hard rock veterans SCORPIONS. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.Asked for his opinion of the current Greek debt crisis, Meine said: "It seems like in many ways, the world is out of balance. With the power of music, that's what we can
It's our part, and for the rest, it's up to politicians to deal with it, and hopefully they find good ways and bring people back together and never stop the dialogue and bring people together instead of that we all drift apart, you know. Music is about bringing people together, and this is our part. And no matter where we go, it's what we do. And it's good sometimes
it's good to get away and take a deep dive in the world of emotions and the world of music, to get away from what's out there and what is happening in the real world."The brand-new SCORPIONS studio album "Return To Forever" was released on February 20 on CD, Deluxe CD, vinyl, Limited Collector's Box, and several more digital and physical formats."Return To Forever" was recorded with Mikael Nord Andersson and Martin Hansen, who had already produced "Sting In The Tail", and re-arranged the material for "MTV Unplugged" with guitarist Matthias Jabs.Interview (audio):
