Such a bummer. Haven't listened to much of his recent music but STP and Velvet Revolver had some great songs.

I just watched a couple of live clips from 2015. I can't believe they would allow him to tour, very VERY bad shape. Someone should have dragged him to rehab.

Yeah I saw one of the live videos and he was just totally fucked up on stage.

Saw STP like 7-8 years ago which was pretty cool though.

RIP. He was a huge influence and probably my favorite vocalist. Great lyricist as well. I truly miss him already.

Im hard pressed to think of better front to back straight rock and roll records than Core and Purple. After that STP was less consistent bit still worth a listen or two.

I never did like Velvet Revolver but it was well executed for what it was.
